Clinical Studies
The field of dermocosmetics has evolved rapidly in recent years. There has been a move away from so-called invasive techniques towards non-invasive techniques which have become the preferred method of treatment for professionals as well as for patients.
Traditionally, peels have been defined as chemical substances which, when applied to the skin of the patient, produce a varying degree of exfoliation and, at the same time, stimulate the dermis. They can also be used as complements for other procedures, whether they are daily skin treatments or adjuvant treatments for various pathologies such as pre-malignant or benign lesions like keratosis among others.
They are currently used as one of the bases for the treatment and improvement of photo-ageing, acne, and hyper-pigmentation.
The treatment must always be complemented at home by the use of a maintenance cream which will help to optimise the results of the treatment.
